ABOUT US
Assessments and Answers Psychology provides services for children aged between 6 and 16 years old. Neurodiagnostic assessments are available to assess autism spectrum disorders (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders (ADHD), and cognitive/learning impairments.
Before commencing a comprehensive assessment (see assessment packages under “services”), a clinician will explore with parents/caregivers the child’s current strengths and challenges, to determine which package is most appropriate for assessing presentation. Upon determining the assessment package, families are offered the assessment to be conducted within the child’s home or school (upon receipt of school approval).
Assessments and Answers Psychology recognises the influence of external factors (e.g., new location, clinical setting, etc.) upon a child’s ability to engage with assessment tasks to their full ability. In conducting assessments in an environment the child considers safe and familiar, such influences are reduced and engagement is optimised.
All Assessment and Answers psychologists have full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and extensive training and experience delivering psychological assessments.
